By Order under section 2 of the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction Act, No. 10 of 2001 published in gazette extraordinary No. No. 1225/29 dated 1st March 2002 , the Minister of Justice, Law Reform and National Integration has specified that the provisions of the Act shall apply in respect of the following countries, as from 1st March 2002 –
